So she's real rough, but I managed to end my loooooong painting dry spell and get some paint on this Nova. He's a Silverroot Keshik Nova, my partner's favourite mech that she discovered through the games - the way she got into the setting.

I think in 2026 I'd like to spend more effort on shooting in colour. I've still got a couple of projects going on that need to be in black and white, but generally I'm gonna put some work in on getting colour I like out of the cameras I have and see what I can create.

Sunflower! Testing out the Zeiss 35mm f2.8 I just picked up for my A7. It's a wonderfully sharp little lens with a lot of character. I honestly think it's slept on because it's old and has a narrow aperture, but it really shouldn't be.

Under the bridge downtown? Shot on my beloved old Canon 5D Mark iii with the Tamron 45mm f1.8 VC. It's such a great combo to have a fast, fairly sharp prime with stabilisation in front of a full frame sensor.
