Last night was the first night without my cat and it sounds dumb since I've also lost my husband but I think the loneliness crashed harder than ever before. And I don't typically succumb to loneliness; I'm independent and like being by myself. Being alone and being lonely are two different things.

It breaks my heart when people who don't consider themselves artists say they aren't creative. As if artist/musician/writer/dancer/etc = creative. I've known many skilled artists who struggle with creativity. I've known nurses who hit flow state and can solve almost any problem.
