Holy wow, this goes places. From a lighthouse keeper's expressionist maelstrom... to his daughter's lonely depressing near-catatonic daily life... and skyrocketing to a demented and absurd tangle of heightened drama. I'd never heard of this before now. Glad I bought the set. 📽

Very fun movie. It's got a lot of goofball comedy, and most of it is charming (especially a bit involving a kid and a snake). The model car stunts were more intercut with real cars this time out, but still great. I've never had a bad experience with Margheriti. Pure entertainment. 📽

This one is excessively weird. If rubber/ puppet crocodiles are your thing, this movie has you covered. It's got lots of comedy scenes, which I found entertaining. Especially the musical number.

This is truly something special. At once, holding its secrets close and showing the doors thrown wide open. Did I connect a bit harder with Maura and her fearless desire to walk her own path - because every mannerism and trait reads as autistic? Maybe, yeah. I'll be revisting this one for sure. 📽

This one took me by surprise. It's dark and sad, filled with loneliness even amidst the facade of 'a good time'. In reality, all the dancing, fun, and sex are a hollow substitution for emotional connection. Much of the nudity is framed as sexy, but considering Linda's situation is anything but.

Decent entertainment, if a bit unfocused in stretches. The Baron and his wife have some kooky satanic shenanigans going on, but the villagers are none too pleased, and an overthrow is brewing. That means lots of bargain basement sword fighting. Naschy, going insane, is giving it his all. 📽
