Muffins are better than cupcakes because they dont need icing to stand on their own. A good cupcake is one that is already fully enjoyable without icing.

I find myself thinking fondly of Final Fantasy VIII more and more as I get older. I think what made VIII so special were the Gardens and the environments overall. So much of the world was idyllic, but also felt natural and cozy for the characters and NPCs living there. The music evoked this so well.

Man, I was originally pretty hyped about the LEGO Mineral Collection coming this October, but the actual final product leaves a lot to be desired compared to the LEGO Ideas submission it started as. The fluorite looks kind of shoddy and the watermelon tourmaline is just disappointing.

I made my own Salsa Verde! I smoked the peppers and tomatillos while a brisket was going, it was really convenient!

I'm grateful that, at least compared to some international television, American TV has a lot more actors and actresses that look like real people you could actually see in everyday life. A lot of modern-day Asian TV is rampant with people that have faces and bodies tuned to such a specific look.

I was explaining to my son that he has two names; a Chinese name we use at home and also his English name he uses at school. He proceeded to tell me my English name (correctly), and then he explained that my Chinese name is "Daddy".

Cleaned this drawing up a bit more. Pepper is a character I created to further distance the definition of a "fairy" in my world to be more than just cute, mindless, tiny girls that simply serve a masculine hero. He is a noble, chivalrous knight that happens to be a fairy.
