I was really disappointed with Pokémon ZA. It felt like a step back from PLA and SV in many ways. Perhaps what upset me the most was how weird and contrived "Ange" was as the backbone of the story, and how L's redemption and atonement felt meaningless because of his memory loss.

Still can't get over the main character in Kingdoms of the Dump being an animated trash can knight named Dustin Binsley. And yet, that's only the tip of the iceberg with names, characters, and puns.

My daughter is really into the Wings of Fire series, so I drew a picture of Glory for her to color. She put it in her school binder and has been slowly working on the colors these last few days!

If Kingdoms of the Dump has a solid ending, its definitely gonna be on my indie rpg favorites list. The world, the characters, and the music have been so much fun so far!

This may not work for everyone, but if you are struggling with a drawing of a character or a scene, I often find that it takes three tries to get the best result. The first gets the idea on paper, the second screws everything up, the third is where you learn and refine what was good about the first.

I watched the Mario Movie again, and I enjoyed it more than the first time. I now have only three main complaints: 1. Bowser's lines were forgettable considering Jack Black's delivery 2. The licensed music should be replaced with the Mario game music from the credits 3. Cranky Kong is miscast

How many of you do art because you really just need to be able to see the characters you have created that are trapped in your head? I don't think anything drives me more than this.

I drew Mint sitting like this three different times, and as I have often found, the first is decent but sloppy, the second just comes out feeling wrong, and the third is the best. I like how this came out a lot, I will color it sometime!

An update on this: I have downloaded and installed the Ocarina of Time recompilation to play up to the water temple for this one scene to take a screenshot in a high resolution to send to a printer for the shower curtain.

Muffins are better than cupcakes because they dont need icing to stand on their own. A good cupcake is one that is already fully enjoyable without icing.

I'm not sure exactly what flipped the switch for me, but I feel like I have not appreciated Mexican cuisine enough until recently. I think it is partly because there are resources and tutorials available online to learn so much more about it than ever before.

I find myself thinking fondly of Final Fantasy VIII more and more as I get older. I think what made VIII so special were the Gardens and the environments overall. So much of the world was idyllic, but also felt natural and cozy for the characters and NPCs living there. The music evoked this so well.

Man, I was originally pretty hyped about the LEGO Mineral Collection coming this October, but the actual final product leaves a lot to be desired compared to the LEGO Ideas submission it started as. The fluorite looks kind of shoddy and the watermelon tourmaline is just disappointing.
