Been playing this lately and it kicks a lot of ass, but I haven't seen much talk about it. Zelda BotW vibes with a distinct and interesting world!

One of the most intelligently-designed open worlds I've explored. Worth exploring for yourself!

I haven't had a chance to talk about it on the pod yet (been a busy year) but The Knightling is super charming! Shield surfing adventure gaming to the max. Big Gamecube energy. I especially liked the designs for townsfolk that reflected jobs or status and looked more interesting than A Person.

15. The Knightling One of my favorite games of the year, The Knightling is a brilliant semi-open world adventure where the titular sidekick takes center stage. With a satisfying parry mechanic, intriguing story, and astute puzzles, there is much to love here. And its orchestral music is majestic.
