This isn't about protecting kids, sites are fully capable of creating systems where we can all tag, filter and control our own space + give parents ways to do even more so for their kids. I support the weird and healthy space adults can express themselves without vague guidelines shifting on them.

I'm not very online and don't really engage with NSFW things in this space, but I do know that censorship is a poisonous thing that may not hurt me today or tomorrow, but will creep in to do damage somewhere down the line. Banning content you might not like only hurts everyone else further down.
