For the first time in over a decade, I've bought a new sports title that isn't an OOTP Baseball like game. I bought NBA 2K26 for my expansion team project. I only get 6 expansion teams as opposed to 18, but not having to make everything and having already made draft classes is nice.

As someone working on a tabletop project, my goals with my stuff have always been to see what a game does, break it down into pieces that I can manipulate myself, and turn the game into what I want it to be. Did that with Race Day, did that with my version of NBA Showdown, list goes on.

There's dedication and then there's the people that are making NBA mock drafts for 5 years into the future. Idk how you could make even part of a mock draft for 5 years into the future of any sport, much less the NBA, but it's very interesting.
