What are you all playing this week? I am a few hours in Crimson Desert and really enjoying it

Every week/month new games from solo or small developers often "out of nowhere", achieve success in the 100Ks of units, and at times millions. The industry is not broken, has simply evolved over the years and the old models often do not fit into the new reality.

What’s everyone playing this weekend.

I know I am an edge-ish case, but the idea of not being able to play a game seamlessly on my big TV, on my handheld device and then via cloud is becoming more and more unfamiliar to me

The only offensive thing of the Estonian song at the Eurovision is that the song is called espresso macchiato, but the cup he is holding in his hand is not an espresso cup 🤣

Even after 26+ years in the industry, it feels special to see a game in a shop

Really enjoy the snooker final today. I remember when videogames based on it would seep hundreds of thousands of copies ( even worked on one).

Surely I am not the only one running a count down to the launch of Switch 2…right???

I have only played 2 hours of Expedition 33 so far but it’s already ahead of any other game launched in 2025 in terms of GOTY.

The last 7/8 months have been absolutely incredible when it comes to amazing game releases. Aren’t we all so lucky?

After finishing Awoved and South of Midnight, I am now a good 10 hours into Starfield and so far I am absolutely enjoying it.

Switch 2 pre-ordered, the sun is shining a little brighter today 😆

Finished Avowed and tonight I started South of Midnight, wow it looks beautiful and the story starts very strong.

Good family available to adopt a stray Switch 2 console. No time wasters 🤣

Looks like I have found the game I will play once I finish Avowed

I've spent the last few hours hunkered down to give our Nintendo Switch 2 games guide a *massive* update to show every title coming at launch and beyond. (Developers and publishers - if you're making a Switch 2 game that's not on the list, please get in touch. Shares welcome!)

What makes me so happy about this Switch 2 Direct is how indie games mix seamlessly with ones from bigger companies. When I joined PlayStation in 2009 to launch of the indie movement this would have been unthinkable ❤️

Today I am celebrating my first year at GSC Game World. My first 12 months adventuring in the Zone have been incredibly exciting and rewarding.

I am a massive volleyball fan and today I was so lucky to go and watch the Vero Volley female team in Milan. The team has some incredible players.

Prague is simply a beautiful city. Even nicer this time of the year. I feel lucky and privileged to be able to visit on a regular basis.

All platforms are ecosystems these days, it has been like this since the launch of Steam, PS3/Xbox360/i9s and Android. The main difference between them is whether they believe their ecosystem should be attached or not to a proprietary piece of hardware.
