Such sad news. Dale Harris sadly passed away yesterday. Dale dedicated a huge part of his life to football, serving in a number of roles across the game.

There are, and sadly there are going to be, a lot of postponements this weekend. Please be kind to your club’s admin. They’re dealing with weather checks, referee calls, league comms, rearrangements and a flood of messages, often voluntarily and often late at night.

With weather warnings sweeping through the country, I hope you’re all staying safe this evening. 💛

What a weekend it’s been eh! Not as many matches as usual, but once again we’ve seen communities pull together and volunteers go above and beyond trying to get games on. That’s non-league football at its very best.

If a match is postponed during the winter due to a frozen pitch: ❌ It’s not “ridiculous”, “suspicious” or a “tinpot club” ✅ It’s because of winter conditions ✅ Volunteers will have done everything possible to try and get the game on Having a go at clubs on social media really isn’t the answer.
