Days 9 and 10, 2.0km total, now off to dig out from another snowstorm 🫠

Day 8 - 1.4km, and it’s getting easier to motivate myself to go out, to keep the streak alive ❤️

Day 7 - a short 0.9km in between meetings and shuttling kids between activities.

Day 6 - 1km, apparently we have had 50cm of snow in Dec already 😱 Time to hibernate, I believe.

Day 5 - 1.5km after the snow stopped and the sun came out, a lovely afternoon 🌞🌞

Day 4 - 1.7km in a frigid -30C, grateful for blue skies and sunshine!

Day 4 - Me vs. a -23°C wind chill 🥶 A quick 0.8km.

Day 4 - a lovely sunny afternoon walk (0.9km), watch out for that ice!

Day 3 - a fluffy snowflake 1.7km walk this morning, over the lovely Doig River.

Day 2 - overnight freezing rain and winds meant today’s walk was short (0.9km) and treacherous. Still glad I went, I saw 2 mule deer, my fave grey magpie, and a local highschool gym class trying downhill skiing.

Day 1 of intentionally walking outside, no headphones, no self-judgement of not going far or fast enough, no matter the conditions. An overcast -13°C afternoon, 1.5km.

I don’t often borrow physical books, because it’s hard to get to get to my library when it’s open. But I want to shift my book-buying to those books that I really love, so I started borrowing from the library more often and if I really like it I buy it to re-read another time. #booktok

Can someone explain how the Libby suspend hold function works? I’m confused b/c it says if you suspend your hold you keep moving up in the line. I suspended and then unsuspended a couple of days later, then I was #1 in line with a 2 wk wait. Now I’m 4th in line with an 8 wk wait? #booksky #libby
