how do you make stories that actually react to user choices without it feeling weird? trying to nail this for my language app and it's harder than I thought the story has to flow like a real convo but also sneak in the right words sometimes it just feels forced still figuring it out

How is it that language apps build tools that: - SO MANY people try - SO MANY people get frustrated with (Duolingo, Memrise, Babbel) They go against the usual advice for language learning success that starts with "make it fun and easy to love"

i just found a social network that feels like the anti-distraction app i didnāt know i needed no endless scroll, no fake progress, just real work, tracked in bytes finally, proof of work actually means something

I just learnt one thing: we need to sell the outcome, not the product spent months explaining how my app works instead of what it actually does for you people really don't care about features, they care about results funny how long it took me to see that lesson learned

Tired of Duolingo? - Spaced repetition - Learn through real conversations - Focus on speaking, not grammar drills - Practice daily without the hassle - Actually enjoy the process This isnāt just another language app. Itās a whole new way to learn.

Spent 45 minutes a day going from āordering coffeeā to having actual conversations in another language No hacks, just a system that makes you speak before you feel ready Small habit, big shift. Reply if you are interested.

Planning to sell 100 early access spots to my Duolingo killer for $10 instead of building in silence for months if people wonāt pay $10, they probably wonāt pay $80 later letās see who bites first time validating an idea, am I doing it right?

I'm stuck on Mission 2 of the $1K Challenge by @AliAbdaal The goal is to sell something that doesn't exist yet. You have to create the product once someone buys it. I tried different approaches, but nothing worked, so I took a step back and analysed what the winners are doing š

if Duolingo is so good, why does a 100-day streak mean you can only say hi for two minutes? are X-day streaks really how we should measure progress? maybe itās time to rethink what "learning" looks like

Feeling great with Duolingo⦠right up to the moment you have to talk? š I hacked a 45-min/day, speak-first routine that took me from āThe horse eats a bananaā to real chats in 100 days. Turning it into a $10 guide (+ a surprise app). Want in?

I'm looking forward for
@nuxt.com
and its future in the short/medium term. But, I worry in the long term: 1. One Nuxt's main selling points was its independence 2. Vercel is becoming a monopoly I completely understand the decision from Nuxt though. OS is hard.

Instead letting the AI do the work, the agent will try to divide the action in multiple steps making sure that the approach is correct and deviating from the original prompt

Introducing Bases, a new core plugin that lets you turn any set of notes into a powerful database. With Bases you can organize everything from projects to travel plans, reading lists, and more. Bases are now available in Obsidian 1.9.0 for early access users.
