Perhaps one of the most beautifully shot films at #Sundance is Clint Bentley’s Train Dreams. A quiet, meditative film about one man’s life and the passage of time. I highly enjoyed 2021’s Jockey as well so add Bentley to my list of must-watch directors.

Just finished up #BlackDoves - a fun seasonal spy romp that I loved. I adore Keira Knightley and Ben Wishaw in this. Also for seasonal but not seasonal fare might I suggest Knightley’s 2021 film Silent Night. It’s pretty bleak but worth a watch: www.liveforfilm.com/2021/09/20/t...

Caught up with THE WILD ROBOT and FLOW this week and still emotionally recovering. Great all around films. A tough choice with these two animated front runners but Flow just has the edge for me…

We’ve just started watching our screener but Mabel is already giving #Flow two enthusiastic paws up. I’ve never seen an animal so riveted by the television screen!!

Agreed!!! Saw it in the one theatre in Toronto playing it and really enjoyed it. Don’t know why they buried this one.
