CSS: Has the idea of an Open Graph media type been explored? Like print? For example, @media opengraph { /* @media layouts for OG sizes here */ } Feels like the social preview for a given URL should just be another CSS layout. Setting up screenshot services of layouts for meta tags is so 🫠

Really nice to see "Custom Built-ins" aka the "is" attribute on this list. I've been vocal for a long time about this one being possibly *the* default way I'd use web components if it only worked in webkit/Safari (works everywhere else) I listed it #1.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge? It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

Need to blog it still, but I've been digging this pattern for loading font CSS (ie from Google) async while retaining a font-display: block effect. And more broadly, I quite like the idea of using CSS keyframes to ensure any risky "staging" styles will self-destruct after a worst-case period.

Found a popular website serving “responsive” videos via 2 <video> elements that are shown or hidden via CSS breakpoint. Don’t do it that way, friends! Too costly! You can set media attributes on video sources now and only download the source a browser needs; even to deliver portrait vs landscape.
