Probably my most well known record sleeve design. Richard Dawson - The Ruby Cord. Front back and two inner sleeve illustrations. Still really proud of this one and always a pleasure working with Richard.

Currently playing Paper Mario, the thousand year door. Its got such a daft and long winded storyline, making for good value gaming. I particularly love the character of Jolene, a hard done by wrestling ring employee whoās glasses fall off her nose all the time.

Honestly I think that seeing the Laurie Anderson show at Factory International last year might have changed my life. Anderson explained that she and Lou chose to never fear anyone as a rule for life and itās really helping me out.

Sad to say I am feeling rough as with the flu so wonāt be able to play the gig tomorrow night at The Whitaker. Gutted to let people down! You donāt want germs through a trombone though, extra potent. I am being looked after / over

Iām framing my Masters thesis around what it means to be an arts worker in the UK after 15 years of Tory austerity. Iāll be considering the role education plays in my creative output having been encouraged into this field because of the gov. cutting arts provision, expecting artists to fill gaps.

I seem to have gained a lot of new followers recently. Hi everyone! I usually make landscape and folklore inspired drone music so please donāt be put off by the fact that I recently made a heavy metal record (scratching a lifelong itch!). I guess this is the āsingleā.

Getting there with the brass band quintet but still nervous to show it to the actual band! Dunno how composers do that. Comes with practice I suppose?

Went to an interesting talk by composer Tom Hawkins today whoās work focuses on instability in composed music - be that accidental or forced. He treated us to an 18 min long drone cello piece that got me excited about micro changes and barely there repetition.
