Spent more time painting #Warhammer40K #Ultramarine Terminators than I negotiated with myself. I wanted to spend a basic amount of time with line troops, saving details and effort for characters and centrepieces—it has been about 8 hours over 3 days. Hopefully the next four will be as consistent.

Getting back from the holidays and I wanted a warmup before I got back to painting Mechs for the show. I repainted the #Warhammer40K #Rhino so I could use it as #Ultramarines #ThousandSons or #AlphaLegion. (I am not a fan of painting large, flat surfaced vehicles.)

Finished painted a full squad of Salamanders—I mean, a Star of #BattleTech Clan Wolf Gamma Galaxy, 16th Battle Cluster specifically. They’ll be chasing down mercenaries next month, but in the meantime I wanted to complete the #painting before going away for two weeks.

These #Warhammer40K #SpaceMarine Sternguard have been sitting around for a while without basing and touch-ups, so I decided to bite the bullet and just get it done. They’ll proxy as Chosen if I ever take them in Crusade. …now I need five more for a full squad.

Who stepped in it best? Trying two different basing rocks for #Warhammer40K #Necrons and I cannot decide. Love to hear opinions.

When I first starting painting #Warhammer models, I thought that #KillTeam #Necrons would be really easy—just black or dark silver. Turns out, I am terrible at building them and it was a struggle. I never finished them. A couple years later and someone builds for me. I can indulge in some OSL.

#Warhammer40K #ThousandSons Sorcerer in Terminator Armour for Holiday Mini Swap, just about done. I forgot to snap a final photo before packing and sealing it into a box. Definitely had frustrations with this whole project, so I was probably a bit hasty to get it mailed out.

I drew a #Warhammer40K Ork/T’au/Thousand Sons player for a Holiday Mini Swap. Painting T’au didn’t work out so well. This Terminator Sorcerer seemed like a good idea and I’m familiar with #SpaceMarines. The sculpt is pretty old, some challenges, but going okay so far!

Even in death… I am annoyed with this model. Difficult to build, doesn’t fit together well, and painting the #Warhammer40K Redemptor has been a pain. It is worse than the Ballistus. #Salamanders better appreciate this…
