I'm getting excited to share Maka to other sites in addition to ComicFury. Tapas and Webtoon were already part of the plan, but I just discovered this other webcomic site called NamiComi, which looks really nice!

I've been feeling way too eager to share Maka with the world. I wish I could just share all of the pages I have at the same time, but I must be patient, because the webcomic world likes when it's just a couple pages a week. I'm sure I'll catch up before I know it.

Wow, the uploading process of NamiComi is SO much nicer than Tapas and Webtoon! It even lets me say my comic is a manga and then choose which direction it reads in. Oh, and best of all, it has an adventure genre!!

I’ve seen people post fan art of something and say they aren’t in the fandom. I thought making fan art or fics means you’re contributing to fandom, but do you have to actually talk to other fans to be in a fandom as opposed to just being a fan of something?

My character, Mimi Maka, done with Uni Posca markers and an Uni Prockey marker. The coloring would be smoother if I hadn't tried using watercolor crayons beforehand. I suspect that they're actually water-soluble oil pastels, because they certainly made her dress look oily. ^-^; #comic #manga #oc

What I *can* do VS what I *choose* to do: Making comics/manga doesn’t mean having to torture yourself by doing things the meticulous, professional way. I choose to make my comics simple and enjoyable to draw! ^w^

A year or two ago, I felt ashamed of trying to write a children’s story. Now, I don’t feel ashamed at all. It’s the opposite. I feel like for once I can proudly share a story without feeling embarrassed about the contents. It’s nice to realize I can write a story that doesn’t turn into smut.

I have 180 pages of Maka now! Woo! I’m going to make any necessary adjustments as I post them.

Out of my Maka characters, Mimi has the least depth at the moment. But when depth means baggage or insecurities, it’s kinda refreshing to have a character without a care in the world.
