I’ve wanted to give Mona a teensy weensy bit more femininity in her design for awhile now, I feel some subtle eyelashes like these could do the trick you can pretend she stole the eyelashes from Maris, what a monster…

here's an incredibly subtle version, until her pupil meets the edge of her eye it's unnoticeable, but I do think it adds some nice definition perchance

simple eyelash test, might not stick with it honestly, just including the subtle black outlines for the eyes seems like a good enough change lol

I put eyelashes on the actual Mona model and oooooo... I'm gonna gatekeep it until I can show it off properly

(pretend she's not bald) if I do ever decide to give Mona eyelashes (still debating) they'd definitely be like this, and I mmmight have a method on how to do it

probably the biggest difference with my current Blender work and my previous GMOD work is preparation with GMOD, I had basically EVERYTHING done for me already. models, sound effects, voices, environments making my own stuff has been hard, but it's also quite fulfilling

I quite enjoy this guy’s odd proportions, like there’s no way he’s getting anything done with his arms being that low lol

biggest hurdle for the next shorts with definitely be environments low poly locations with snazzy textures, both things I struggle with a LOT oughh

I’m probably taking a short break after that animation lol, really glad I got it made though, the best way to improve one’s skills is definitely with a project

forgot I actually tried designing the character as a potential RPGMaker test game protagonist but I game up rather quickly lol

due to the whole premise of the sci-fi project, a lot of the ships I'm gonna design are gonna be mainly one-man ships, no bigger than a bus, since they have to fit inside a bigger ship this information isn't super interesting I just wanted to share it regardless

starting the animation for this short was incrrrrredibly stressful cuz I hadn't learned enough essentials yet, and it was basic stuff like "how do I make this character stop moving but also make it look good" had to develop an entirely new workflow, but I'm glad it's been fine
