I have now officially left the journalism course. I figured that a two minute video, 15 minutes of audio and a 800 word feature was not going to make much difference to my life. In fact I realised that doing the last seven months I would have achieved more in real terms just sleeping.

One of our local community centres is going to have funding cut of 87,000 pounds. This is one of 64 organisations that are about to be hit. The offer vital services, so how do we mitigate the loss?

If things are still going the same as they were 500,000 people considered too ill for work...will be losing 5,000 pounds a year. Half their welfare payment. They will be thrown onto Universal Credit which in itself is not adequate.
