While Trump claims that crime is out of control in Democratic cities and blames what he calls radical leftists, NYPD reports there were zero arrests at today’s No Kings protest in New York City.

The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.

These findings could open the door to new drugs that target host proteins rather than the virus. This strategy may lead to new treatments effective against SARS-CoV-2 and other coronaviruses, even as the pathogens continue to evolve.

Can New Jersey’s $2 billion PFAS deal with DuPont be a model?
The settlement, which also includes Chemours and Corteva, spotlights state-led action against chemical giants while fueling calls for more innovative policies and stronger federal regulation

1/3 It's official, our grants from the NIH/NIEHS have all been suspended. We were aiming to understand how arsenic, a chemical that millions of Americans are exposed to at high levels, is disrupting the epigenetic machinery.

Cuts to science agencies will severely undermine America’s global scientific leadership, damage local economies nationwide and ultimately slow or stop the development of treatments American people desperately need. ➡️Read ASBMB's statement on mass layoffs:

Indirect costs are not indirectly related to research. They are directly related to research. They cover costs indirectly related to a specific project, like keeping the lights on in the lab.
