Wings are an easy place to put a pattern or accent color which is part of the fun for me to make something, so it's bats again Can't do that with birds. People get very confused about a bird in different colors. Tried making Penguins with diff colors and people would ask where the Penguins were

After waitlists, getting off waitlist but sick family, acceptance but other events replied first, etc I'm finally at Naka-kon! I attended 10yrs ago and wanted to come back as an artist because it was such a good time. It was a weird mix of circumstances that kept me away but it's good to be here now

Updates: - continuing to try learning how to use a tablet so I can have time-lapses of work for portfolios. My hands are very shaky and it's been difficult - product orders have been made at a gamble and boy I hope it works out or I'm going to have to cut back immensely

I designed and ordered way to many socks. Now idk if they'll be made and shipped in time for next year. Why do I always do this? Make to much of one thing and not enough of others. Someday I'll be good at my job.

Only got 2 of 6 things on the daily goal list done today but traded the 4 things for time spent on a con application and a few hrs researching hotels. Hopefully I can add some of the missed goals onto the next few days and I do really like how the 2 things that did get done turned out

Latest setback was a 2nd out of pocket dentist visit which was more intense than expected and took a few days to not have a headache. I'm glad it's done! I want to work and clean!

It might be 3am but I just got three of ten designs done for one product category after months of not being able to get any design work done because of health and family stuff. My brain isn't letting me do anymore but MAN it was nice to start!

I had 4 events in a row 1 week of a bad cold 1 last event right after and slept almost all day today There's a lot of cleaning to do but will work on custom orders asap! Thank you for supporting me during all this! Most events were small or tiny profit so the kind words and sales were meaningful!

I've been sick with a cold and am almost better but it took time away from prepping what I wanted to have for this weekend. There is more than enough to fill the table, I just wanted to step up and do more. Time to con crunch like crazy!
