Just finished season one of Andor. That was… I mean blimey! How good??

Well. King & Conqueror was rubbish, that’s a flippin’ shame. Didn’t manage half an episode (which is very unusual, normally give things time to breathe but that was pants!)

Sometimes, a day of just getting life stuff sorted is enormously satisfying. Much has been sorted through, tidied, rationalised, and in some cases minorly DIY’d, and it’s a rewarding feeling!

Another squadron of Vordekh Jaegers finished. Thoroughly enjoying myself!

Well the K-Pop Demonhunters soundtrack is going to be lodged in my brain for the next *checks watch* ever

Boom! Finished my 1st squadron of my traitorous 9th Vordekh Jaegers (‘The Dire Wolves’), turncoat Imperil Army Auxilia. This is a hella quick scheme too. I can’t wait to see Baneblades in these colours

One project ends (for now) and another begins: Cultist Firebrand means my Word Bearers Chaos Cult sub-army is complete. Meanwhile, got the basic scheme figured for my traitor Imperial Army for Legions (some details still to paint, this was a quick and dirty colour test).

Trip down memory lane this evening chatting with Mrs T-C about 80s toys we loved: monster in my pocket, battle beasts, micro machines and mini boglins just for starters!

Sunday afternoon painting sesh, good times

When you absolutely positively have to stop the witch elf scoring (using a heap of bacon-smeared bodies)

That’s the last 10 cultists painted for my Word Bearers, which brings me closer to getting my event army ready - just 10 Beastmen and a Firebrand left to paint!

So I’m finally watching Tenet and I’m only like an hour in but… this is actually quite good?

That’s the Treemen finished. Jollyvale Jawbreakers reporting for duty (or at least for the half time snacks… and the pre-match snacks… and the post-match snacks…)

This week’s revelation is that Tony Hart (yes that apparently gentle-natured, soft spoken Tony Hart) was an officer in the Gurkhas (yes those legitimately terrifying Gurkhas). The More You Know, I guess

Finished this page-turner this weekend and I can heartily recommend. Was it a bit pleased with itself in places? Sure. Was it a bit predictable here and there? A bit. Was it enormously fun regardless, and also very empathetic, cinematic and deserving of a sequel? 100%. Fun, funny, horrid & charming.

Just the treemen left to paint now, then that’ll be the Jollyvale Jawbreakers ready for some gridiron action
