I love this one so much. Polar bears put their nose in the air like that to survey their world. They “get big” too and square up their shoulders. For a simple painting I really captured how that first bear looked at me. Unforgettable. I’ll keep practicing!

A friend posted her dinner view from Puget Sound last night. I decided to paint it. I really like this one for the deep sunset color and water variations. Was a good lesson!
