Not me still just playing upscaled GameCube and Wii games because that's what I was already playing when I got it.

I got a new monitor. QHD 165hz with HDR. ...oh my god.

The interesting part of not thinking about drawing or doing anything with art lately is that I've been able to enjoy other art a lot more. I've felt less compulsion to self-compare and unfairly judge myself and it's helped me enjoy others' art like I use to.

Sometimes I wonder if it's the character I'm into or the art itself. Of course art style plays a big part but I swear there are instances where I could not give a shit about a character both in and out of kink contexts until I see them in a style and suddenly I give a gazillion shits.

Gonna stick with Blazing Blade a bit more, I think. Really give it as much of a shot as I can.

I really need to stop trying to like Fire Emblem. I've beaten one game (Echoes) and played a good bit of two others (Three Houses, Blazing Blade) and I just cannot find much satisfaction at all in the strategy gameplay. Forming a plan and executing on it in these games does nothing for me. :/

Something about pointy ears that just does so much for me. Elves, goblins, imps, faeries, etc. I don't know why. I just really, really love it.

My Smash Bros. hot(?) take is that despite how much I have enjoyed third-party content and how many of my most wanteds were third-party characters, I would love to see a purely Nintendo-focused Smash again, or at least *majorly* focused (like 2-3 third-parties, tops).
