An evening stroll around the lovely Yorkshire village of Gargrave. I've never really been religious but the older I'm getting the more I venture into churches. Weird.

The loco was built just down the road from where I grew up in Woodlesford, though long before my time I may add. There is still a single track that diverts off the line to Leeds that heads up to the Hunslet Engine Company. The company now produces mainly shunting units up to 150 tonnes.

Day in Embsay up Skipton. In memory of Dad who loved this place. Plus I've dropped a bagful of books off at the little charity shop, helps keep the place open. Nice weather to boot. Always worth a journey from Leeds.
