I just got the ARC for Everina Maxwell's epic sapphic fantasy Call Me Traitor! Winter's Orbit has been in *my* orbit for years, and this might be the push I need to read that novel too. I love an author who can show depth!

While this June in sapphic book releases has less blockbuster energy than 2025, it makes up for it in quiet hits and literary darlings. We also have some more cozy science fiction and fantasy releases, and a compelling new horror novel that I’m personally very intrigued by. 🌈📚

Rebecca Thorne's This Gilded Abyss is one of those rare sapphic books where I like the original cover a thousand times more than the new cover. Bring back my front-page lesbians. 😭

I really enjoyed my experience with Mazey Eddings' newest sapphic novel, You Won’t Forget Me. In an era of one too many overly palatable lesbian romance novels, this book hit me like a brick of emotions with its sheer sincerity and grit. 🌈📚

I’m a little on the fence when it comes to rating Love Galaxy. On the one hand, it’s so competently written that it easily stands above 90% the field. On the other hand, it’s just missing some sort of spark to make it into one of the best sapphic science fiction novels I've read recently. 🌈📚

After six months, I finally recieved my order of Creator's Grace Vol. 1 and At the World's Mercy Vol. 1 and 2 from Yiggybean! For those who don't know, these are some of the first Chinese sapphic books (or baihe) officially accessible to the West and they are gorgeous. They turned out so well. 😍

I wished Lady’s Knight had chosen to do anything new or risky with its narrative. Instead, the story is mostly characterized by predictable plot points and twists...A sapphic novel doesn’t have to defy gravity to be great, but at a bare minimum, I do expect it to keep me awake at night. 🌈📚

I wouldn’t recommend The Devils just for the sapphic romance—there isn’t enough focus for that—but I also wouldn’t *not* recommend it if you’re looking for a memorable and unique sapphic relationship and don't mind the premise. I will fully admit that I fell in love with the wholesome chemistry. 🌈📚
