This was a nice thing to hear about on my birthday.

Planning out the first town the party goes to in the campaign. It's a small old village, a quiet stopping point before the big city in the region. I like the layout, but not this sketch much. Try it a few more times, add a couple more buildings, refine the ascetic a bit.

So I did another pivot in making my dnd camp. Not a full scrap-n-start-over thankfully. Same world, same premise, just shifting focus to another part of the continent. Realized I was doing the halfway/reveal dungeon first, and that simply wouldn't do. So we're moving north and starting off simpler.

After an hour long walk, I kicked the funk i was in and got some rough sketches for episode 1 of Fetcher done up. Despite having an outline for it I didn't really know how to connect the dots, one of the things dragging me down earlier, but I think it's taking shape better now.

Today's one of those days where I don't feel like working on any of my projects, but I don't feel like goofing off either. I'm in this weird muck of immobility while wanting to move. I sketched this to try and nudge me out of that feeling, get some momentum going. "Canyon Trail" #art #sketchbook
