Publication of the report on the feasibility of a possible Future Circular Collider. Released today, a report of a study investigating the project’s feasibility will serve as input for the European Strategy for Particle Physics and be assessed by the CERN Council in the coming months.

The Xi baryon consists of two strange quarks and one up or down quark. By measuring the momenta of the baryon's decay products, researchers at CERN have refined their understanding of chromodynamics, the theory that describes how quarks interact via the strong force.
