Competitive gaming and hardcore sweat PVP can't be the only pillar you build a genre on if you want content and new games regularly. Demand good solo content that teaches players.

I think, based on my own personal experience trying to get into the multi-player of both genres, 2XKO is struggling more then valorant to draw in new players because of a foundational genre problem. Playing single player shooters can get you basically competent at shooters, not ao with fighters
