Speaking as an ELDER MILLENIAL who has played a metric butt ton of Halo 1: They have no interest in the new remake with how the old weapons played. The plasma pistol in halo 1 is more powerful as a single shot gun then it's charge shot because you can fire it as fast as you can pull the trigger.

Every time I hear that the new halo 1 remake is running on a modified reach engine I just get so sad and tired. Reach has crap AI and mediocre weapon feel compared to the original and they are probably not going to modify it enough to make it feel like halo 1.
