Hades II: more of what you love with some flashier effects, different weapons and magic options, and new enemies to test those options. The “crafting” is really just an expanded version of the original darkness>keys>potions system to fit the new theming and adds little but doesn’t take away either.

Come to think of it, has anyone found examples of a POSITIVE change made by Skybound? We’ve found tonnes of stuff they missed or ignored, but what about all the other things they promised to do? #Transformers #Skybound

Skybound’s response to the Kickstarter complaints has been to insist that they did the work to correct mistakes while issue 1 of the US series - the first comic anyone is likely to read when they open the compendium - sits in open defiance of this claim.

So, complaints aside, I am enjoying the G1 comics. I’ve never read them before (shocked silence, car alarm goes off, questions asked in parliament) but they move at a hell of a clip and there’s no shortage of imagination crammed in around the toy advertising

My Dad famously *almost* met Ed Sheeran when he turned up early to a pub and the only person there was “some redheaded backpacker-looking guy” so he decided to go home. Only found out the next day when Ed turned up in the socials section of the paper.

I know I’m going on about the Skybound thing but some people missing out on credits, no error correction and now people reporting some pages have stains and creases scanned in is inexcusable for a $700 product. $700 is two MP figures. $700 is two pages of art. It’s PS5 money.

Film Flubs: in Transformers: The Movie, the robot Optimus Prime declares to his nemesis Megatron that “One shall stand, one shall fall”. Both robots fall over multiple times in the following scenes.

Workin’ on an original thing. It’s about two robot cops who have their “are we the baddies” moment in a world of machine people where part-swapping, body modifications and even new paint jobs are considered heretical by a theocratic state. It’s definitely not a metaphor for any current issues.
