I tend towards MOHO in my work though I am aware other models are available and mixing models is fine - we can drop models, we’re at the service of the client not the model. But MOHO has lots of scope to talk about motivation, the environment sustaining or constraining us, and the lived body.

Good spot! With communities of practice to bridge the theory/practice divide by implementing evidence-based models of practice, standardised tools and manualized interventions I believe occupational therapists have shown that they can do better!

I can't agree with the first statement. My previous clients could have prioritised symptom-management, not understanding OT area of expertise. I do agree that the stat re research taking 17 years to get into practice is scary. More Communities of Practice needed!
