My daughter was gifted this Micronesian skirt, is now part of a huge family from Chuuk Island. They immigrated to HI then WA. We spent father's day w/them, Wawa (grandma) has 27 grandkids. The sweetest family, great traditional island food, fun! I held a new baby. Was so full of love. ❤️

Gunther is 5! Gotcha Day! Shelter had him as a “hyper, vocal boy” and he sure is that! He‘s still wild, exceptionally fast, but he’s just the sweetest pup. He’s truly my soul dog. Don’t tell him he’s getting his annual shots today. He’s going to be dramatic.

I woke up feeling so loved this morning. My 24yo daughter crawled into bed with me to cuddle (she leaves Sun). Then Gunther dog had to snuggle in too. I didn’t really sleep well, but have nowhere to be today and their comfortable twitchy dreams were worth the sleeplessness.
