I met author/illustrator Charlie Mackesy at Fortnum & Mason London, bought a signed book for my daughter. I’m wrapping it and decide to flip through the pages to leave her little mom notes. I **needed** this book today. Needed the words and beautiful art. How fortuitous. ❤️

I have really connected with artists this trip. I’m talking, hugs, tears, time and friendships that I intend to keep. There was Robert Bakama recycled textile embroidery artist too. His work was upwards of $30k and is visually stunning. I want to get him to Alaska for summer arts festival.
