I have really connected with artists this trip. I’m talking, hugs, tears, time and friendships that I intend to keep. There was Robert Bakama recycled textile embroidery artist too. His work was upwards of $30k and is visually stunning. I want to get him to Alaska for summer arts festival.

A friend of mine in San Francisco is an MD, PHD sexual health psychologist (yeah, he’s cool AF) and was on the front lines of AIDS in 80’s SF. I had no idea of the cruelty, fear and suffering of that time period. Connecting the dots as an adult was eye opening.

Mom and cub stopped by to check us out where we watched, breathless from the buggy. Some bears are very curious of the large, white box full of people with clicky things.

Like mother, like daughter. This cub is 1 year and 11 months old and will be sticking around for another 6 months at least before venturing off on her own. They both look to be in good shape and I hope they have good luck on the ice once Hudson Bay freezes. #BearSeason2025 #Mammals 🌿
