I was right about how Switch 2 Edition games would work. I don't think they said it in the Direct but they have confirmed on separate videos that the upgrades will be included in NSO, which is a good incentive to be subscribed (along with multiplayer, access to retro games etc)

My prediction for Switch 2 "editions": - Devs can make patches for S1 games that have S2 power, these are the S2 edition games - They will charge for these but not price of full game - Nintendo will include S2 edition patches in NSO subscription for some of their biggest S1 games
