I recorded my Laracon US talk today. A 5 minute video and it took me from 1pm until 8pm with two breaks between to get it done 😬. And I’m still not happy with it. The words lost all the meaning and I could hardly say my own name at the end 😅. Tell me I’m not the only one struggling with recording 🥹.

I have just caught up with all @larabelles.com emails and urgent to-dos, and it feels wonderful! I mean, the to-do list is still very long, but I feel like I've made progress, and I'll definitely sleep better tonight. Feeling good - at least until tomorrow morning 😅.

In the past three months, I have taken a course with the University of Cambridge on women leading change. This course was really eye-opening and one long therapy session 😃. I learned so much about the systemic inequalities women face, globally and across contexts, that it made me quite upset.

If I ever think that running is stupid and why am I even doing this to myself, at least I know I'm not the only one 😃. The New York City marathon ballot went live 8 minutes ago, and there is already a queue - my current waiting time is over 1 hour. Lots of similarly crazy people out there. Love it!
