So, the shooter got away. Kirk had called for release of the Epstein files. Today, none of the media is talking about Epstein. I’m not suggesting Trump had Kirk killed. On the other hand, I wouldn’t put it past him.

I shed no tears for Charlie Kirk. He was a sh*t of a human being who called for the deaths of others. I'm not saying his shooting doesn't sadden me. No. Every time I learn of a person being shot, I feel a piece of myself torn away. We are all diminished by gun violence.

Can we just say shootings are always bad?

I utterly and totally oppose guns and gun violence. That said, I’m finding it hard to have sympathy for Charlie Kirk because he has said gun deaths were a necessary tradeoff for the Second Amendment. I say that’s a reason to change or eliminate it.

Situations like this are what the Second Amendment was written for. Being a pacifist, I’m not calling for a revolution. Only that I’d use it as a defense to any charges for someone defending Chicago.
