Why does "stubbornness" have so many double letters!? 😩

Working on formatting My Primitive Alien Exile, and I just had one of those strange moments where you stare at a word too long and start wondering if that's really how it's supposed to be spelled. "Language" is, indeed, spelled correctly, but it sure doesn't look like it. 😅

Do any other sci-fi readers get annoyed when an author uses "universe" and "galaxy" interchangeably? Like, my friend, these things are NOT the same.

I think "A Wolf's Mate Walked into a Bar" may be one of the best shifter romances I've ever read. I'm only halfway through, so there's still room for disappointment, but so far, I'm absolutely loving it. 💙📚

Every time I have to write "phenomena" I hear that one muppet song. You know. "Mahna Mahna." And then I end up with an epic ear worm stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

Artist pro tip: If you want to draw from imagination, go for it. But if you're struggling with a pose or the angle or anything else USE REFERENCES. It'll save you so much time and suffering.

Ranking my books on the dark to bright scale: HBA Book 1: Bright. Light hearted fun, with a focus on the romance. Alien 🍆 was the goal Jacky Series: Dips its toes into the dark side of things to touch of some serious issues, but overall pretty mid Vamp Why Choose: Dark. Not dark AF, but close

Hmm. My vampire Why Choose is turning out to have a lot more gore than I thought it would. Not sure why I expected different, considering the plot line. 😅

I want to start today's drafting session, but I feel like I need to rethink the next couple chapters, because this is a Why Choose, and I don't want anyone to mistake a particular side character as a potential LI, which they will if he keeps rescuing her... So! Rethinking required.
