Been messing with UI for a little Sonic Boost formula demo I've been building in my spare time. Found an interesting article from when Sonic Forces released from the UI lead talking about using primary colors and a certain alignment to give things harmony and he was right! #gamedev #indiedev

Shadow Generations had a lot of wonderful music, but, this one sticks out to me the most from one of the early cutscenes. Cutscene direction was damn wonderful for the game! I hope future games continue it's quality! youtu.be/ejJqf-Bb3FM?...

Hey @nitrorad.bsky.social do you plan to talk about or at least try the Sonic Generations remastered with the Shadow Generations game included? I know you don't talk about the "big boys" as much, but, I still would like to hear your thoughts as the "platformer guy" after all!

Picked up my physical copy for the Switch version today. The Generations half runs wonderfully even at 30fps. Beat it all over again in portable mode as soon as I got off work. Still my favorite 3D Sonic game and now, I have it portable proper. Please play this masterpiece 💙🩵🖤❤️

Animation wise, I find Shadow Generations to be far more advanced, obviously. And I find it's story really emotionally rewarding. The ending got me feeling things. Was a bit annoyed Sunset Heights and Chaos Island robbed us of a Shadow 05 stage and potentially another 06 or Heroes stage tho 😤

Completed 100% Shadow Generations for the second time, just to make sure my thoughts were solid. It's great. However, the Boost gameplay in the Sonic half feels more rewarding and the amount of platforming and challenge and dynamic twists and turns along the road in Sonic's half were far better.
