We were delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal to the archive earlier this week. We shared some of the amazing stories from our exhibition, The Town That Taught Itself, before she was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate for her services to the arts.

A thrilling day for the team as we expanded one of our most popular collections, the Textile Fabrics of India Archive. Today's acquisition is the first volume we have from a later 2nd series and it joins material from the 1st series, which has been at the University since the 19th Century.
