I try not to get down on myself for not having the energy to be more creative on my off time, but it’s a struggle. The constant traveling and inability to just get into solid creative momentum has haunted me for years. Being at grassroots events like Climax may help heal the soul tho.

Spent today building a dresser, cleaning up the house, and finishing a first draft of my first Commander deck. Productivity!

I want to grind fighting games again. Admittedly, covid really affected my enjoyment of playing as I very much need the social aspect and that wasn’t an option. Post lockdown, I’ve done nothing but lose myself in work and anything that wasn’t work was pushed aside.

I've had eight hours of sleep finally so I'll say this about Evo 2025: it was a good one overall for the event, but it was busy and at times incredibly stressful for me personally. Think for the most part I did ok, but being a bit hard on myself today for my misses. New role, new challenges.

Finally home from Evo. Gonna rest for a day and then I have to pack for a move on Friday. Pray for me.

Exhausted with Evo prep but dragged myself to Round 1 for a DDR session. Breaking some old records and hitting some new consistency on 12s, but need to still work on getting through harder charts stamina wise. Maybe I can hit Gold 3 on @life4ddrbot.bsky.social before the end of the week?

Finally cleared Breaking the Future ESP again after several failed attempts. Able to read at higher speed mods now, so now to get my stamina back up to par to beat my old PB

Been focusing on rest (where I can) on the lead up to Evo. Feeling a bit more productive and generally less fatigued lately (though there’s still a layer of exhaustion from pushing myself too hard for years). It’s hot AF in the house, but still thought I looked good today
