Nice welcome back session for DDR today. Haven’t played in a month so took it a bit easier this time. Goal is to aim to play twice a week with a focus on better consistency in the 14 - 16 range while building stamina to take on more 18’s and 19’s.

Played a bit more SF6 this week and noticed I'm just getting knowledge checked to death. I think my neutral game is mid and it def needs work, but I'm also just not responding correctly to attacks like Sagat's Tiger Nexus. Need to find a character and get back in the lab

I have not been to the gym or played DDR in four weeks due to various circumstances and travel. After this last work trip I’m dancing and lifting heavy. I need it.

Decent run in Vsav at Frostys. Might be time to grind a bit more. Seems like I have a decent chance to put up some numbers moving forward if I do. Gotta find the time.

I’m rich

Fly 10 hours back to the states, connection delayed for four hours due to staffing shortages, finally get home at 1am and told you have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for your bag. Have to fly out again in 24 hours. This is the other side of production you never see and let me tell you, it’s rough.

Flight keeps getting delayed. I live in LAX now.

It’s still a wonder why folks get shocked when I say I’m a naturally shy person, like most of the more visible figures in the scene aren’t the same. Our passion propels us to be forward facing, whether we enjoy the attention or not.

Early morning meetings disrupting my circadian rhythm. I have seen the Google Calendar. I’ve seen the late night Slack chats. I was clearing tasks on Asana before y’all became a full time employee. That shit ain’t nothing to me. (I need to be back in my own time zone asap. I miss my bed)

Had a fun time with my boros equipment commander deck and then saw this. Time to add some tokens.

Finally had time and energy to sit down and edit a project for the first time in awhile today. Feels good. Let's keep this up.

On my flight to Tokyo yesterday, @tempusrob.com reminded me that it was the 10 year anniversary of my FGC: Rise of the Fighting Game Community documentary. Making this project changed my life and gave me the career that I have today. Pretty surreal
