I’ve been meaning to revamp my sewing/craft room for over 1.5 years but something always got in the way. But now! I have the time! And I need to get it done before I start my next cosplay build so let’s goooo

Doing nanowrimo again this year and we’re starting a bit slow with about 1200 words on day 1 but that’s ok

So at one point I calculated that I would need 475 crochet hexagons for my blanket but after recalculating with updated hexagon sizes I’m actually looking at 345 hexagons… but I already bought all the yarn

Ahhhh I forgot to share that I finished the first draft of Storm Fall a few days ago!! It clocked in at 106k words but there’s a partial rewrite in there that will be so fun for future Angela to parse out but until then I’m delving into a new project for nano! (and also some fics)

Me writing a performance review for a colleague I enjoy working with and fighting real hard not to end it with “Big claps for <colleague>”

100k words on my draft achieved!! The goal for September is to finish it, and it’s very close so I think that’s doable. And then to throw the draft into a corner and not look at it for months 😅

After my writing sessions yesterday I am now 420 words away from 100k on this draft! 🔥 I’m also so close to the end!

Been trying to buy some grey yarn off of a website for months but whenever I checked they would be out but TODAY, not only was all the shades I wanted in stock they had a DISCOUNT code. I am now one step closer to my giant hexagonal crochet blanket 🐝

That urge to play a cozy game but the world has too many good cozy games and also let’s not forget the multiple games I own that I have yet to play 😅

Ah yes, another new crochet project because I cannot be confined to one. I’m trying out a thin yarn because I think I’ll like how it looks, but thin yarn also means it does not work up fast
