Since I want to make a short gameboy version of Noctheria to promote the main game, I decided to enter #gbJam13 and make a small project over the next few days just to learn how gb studio works. It's surprisingly easy to use, it reminds me of my days in RPG Maker 2003

A difficult part of mixing Survival Horror with Zelda-likes is how to do "tool" items (Bombs, Bow, etc) and keep the resource management and limited inventory of games like RE. The answer: turn tools into spells called Exvotos. Here's the Light Exvoto to guide you in darkness.

Testing my Noctheria has become just me climbing ledges for 10 mins with my brain totally in blank. 😅

Finally! After a break to play Neverwinter Nights 2 I came back with determination! Now you will be able to climb ledges like Link does!! Gamedev is not a walk in the park, discipline is key boys!
