We have the votes to pass a three year extension of the ACA tax credits, but Mike Johnson is going to send the House of Representatives home instead. This issue should be addressed with the urgency it deserves, and Mike Johnson is falling woefully short.

Nearly 100,000 El Pasoans will see their insurance premiums DOUBLE and in some cases TRIPLE. Mr. Speaker, we have the votes now to avoid this. You should bring this bill to the floor TODAY to avoid the pain millions will feel if we don’t do this now.

I sent an email survey to 185k El Pasoans and more than 8 in 10 respondents say Republicans should work with us on extending health insurance tax credits for American families. Our community knows what's at stake with the Republican shutdown.

Republicans would rather close the government than ensure Americans won't be kicked off their healthcare or watch their prices soar. Federal employees and servicemembers are set to miss their paychecks this Friday, yet Republicans still refuse to even *meet* for negotiations.

There’s a reason Republicans keep lying about Democrats wanting to give free health insurance to the undocumented. It’s because they want to take YOUR healthcare away and they’re hoping they distract you.

ACA tax credits are set to expire at the end of this year, but rate increase notices are already going out.   Here are just a few of the ways these subsidies help El Pasoans. They’re all reasons I’ll keep fighting.
