i enjoy reading and i love books but man i can be Bad At It. if i feel the slightest sense of obligation, my heart will find any excuse not to. but when it’s a book i love i can’t think about anything else until it’s done.

in the last episode of captivated by you, i really thought medaka was going to reach over and tuck the tag in for nikaido…

i’ve lived in my city for 14 years now and i had to make my first complaint the other day. they made the crosswalk so loud i could hear it through my windows, and it went off every cycle. i sent a polite email, a few hours later there was a work order made, and it was fixed within 24 hours.

the problem with bl as a genre is that most of the interesting ones are one-shots. nearly all of the longer series i’ve read can’t go very long without introducing a poorly handled jealousy plot, uninteresting side characters, or amnesia lol. novels are probably better for me.

by some miracle my package from luts arrived from korea. the dress was too big but it’s fine for now. the wig was absolutely perfect 😭 she’s finally starting to look like cinnamon

i guess they’re going for a romeo and juliet story, but i still don’t get the sense the girl has any kind of interior life. i’m sure we’ll get there but first impressions aren’t super great, i really need my characters to have some kind of “freak” trait
