B-sides are like the middle children of releases. Becoming increasingly more rare and forgotten. I like releasing 2 tracks at once. Gives people something extra if they like the first bite or another flavor. If you do enough of them you get to release a b-side comp later on.

It’s really hard to be someone who cares about the wellbeing of people & try to keep up with the news. I don’t have any faith in things getting better overall. The dreams of a better future for everyone just aren’t there. And no, this feeling isn’t “new” - it’s been like this for years and years.

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service. “Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.
