A pet peeve of mine: someone comparing “good” and “bad” writing and while reading the “good” one aloud they perform it, emphasizing the right words and pausing at the right moments. But for the “bad” one, they sigh every word and suddenly punctuation is invisible. Clearly, there’s a bias. #writing
