#HobbyStreak 217 and 218. The flu has descended on the house, so I've not been feeling like doing much. Yesterday I primed the model for my backup character in the Festive D&D campaign. Today I painted the Gryph Stalker and Gryphcrow for my Stormcast.

#HobbyStreak 216. Back to work on the D&D stuff. I just painted basecoats on all of the exposed skin.

#HobbyStreak 214 and 215. Last night was D&D. A fun session and our first big battle. Tonight I was feeling rather tired so I just painted the Epic Warpath GCPS with Black Templar contrast paint for the under suits.

#HobbyStreak 212 and 213. I've been finishing the Cyberpunk bust and now she is finished! I'm really pleased with how this project has come together. Painting just for display has been surprisingly rewarding. I definitely need to do some more projects like this. #miniaturepainting #cyberpunk

#HobbyStreak 209. I've been continuing to work on the Cyberpunk bust. Black sections of the jacket, the bikini top/bra, and the mechanical parts mostly. I think it is coming along well. I need to decide what to do regarding makeup and tattoos on her though.

#HobbyStreak 208. This evening I reorganised my Pathfinder 2e files to account for the Remastered editions. Then I sat and got some painting done on the cyberpunk bust. The purple on the jacket is now done.

I can now reveal my Secret Santa project. It was a Necron Command Barge for #warhammer40k

#HobbyStreak 206 and 207. I painted "polar" bear. We then used said bear to fun effect in tonight's D&D game. Still finding it weird being a player and not the DM though.

#HobbyStreak 205. I finished off the barrels for the D&D project and planned out how I'm going to paint the 28 gnomes. That is going to be a big job.

Had another bout of #chronicpain #painsomnia last night. So I let my brain go off on a tangent. Inspired by @andycruns.bsky.social #findfolkfriday theme of "orange", I did a test of an orange GCPS trooper. I think I will stick with the white though. Orange will make a good colour for squad markings.

#HobbyStreak 202, 203, and 204. I have finished the Secret Santa project (pics of that next week after they have received it). Today I wanted to do something just for me, so I assembled Jakkob Bugmanson.

My friend turned up at D&D last night with gifts for the whole group. Amongst mine was a new 2000ad mug (mine's chipped), some dice, a couple of pin badges and these beauties. A set of anodised metal dice in the shape of various explosives and a big pink dice bag. Suffice to say I was very grateful.

#HobbyStreak 201. I wanted to finish the Secret Santa project but it's been a pretty bad pain day so all I could do was batch prime the GCPS for Epic Warpath (technically just a refresh after the primer got damaged during cleaning up).

#HobbyStreak 200! First session of the Festive D&D campaign last night. It was great fun. My character is just pure chaos and whimsy. I'm looking forward to next week.

#HobbyStreak 199. I finished the base for my supersized fey bunny! He's called Caerbannog (Noggie) for short. I also worked on the Secret Santa project which is nearly finished.

#hobbystreak 198. Bunnies! A bunch of 10 28mm scale ones from Pendraken for my D&D character's familiar (I think the sculpt is ok, I just got a couple of bad castings) and a massive 35mm scale one (I don't know who the sculptor is) to use as a summoned Fey. I'll finish the basing off tomorrow.

#hobbystreak 197. More D&D terrain finished today. Didn't get much done today overall though.

#hobbystreak 196. I've made some massive progress on the Secret Santa project. Should be finished by the end of the weekend. I also finished off one of the terrain pieces for the D&D set. I've got to get some of the characters to tabletop standard before Monday evening if possible.

#hobbystreak 195. Continued work on the D&D stuff. Surprisingly slow going with this project. Still, I'm going to have to put it on hold tomorrow while I work on the Secret Santa project.

#hobbystreak 194. Continued to work on D&D terrain today. I'm going to have to pick up the pace if I am going to get this done by next Monday and the Secret Santa project done by that following weekend.

Warhammer 40k is a satire. People not understanding this and leaning into the fascist aesthetic ruin the fun for everyone and deserve mockery.

#hobbystreak 190-193. The past four days have been busy with boring stuff, I have managed to do a bit of hobbyIng each day though. I've built the character sheet for my new D&D character and put together a little folder of game aids. I've also been steadily working on the Secret Santa project.

#hobbystreak 189. Made good progress on the Secret Santa project and continued work on the D&D terrain I've been asked to do. I also collated a bunch of notes to make starting my campaign up again easier when we come back from the festive campaign break. Fairly productive day I think.

#hobbystreak 188. A friend has asked me to paint some terrain and minis for an upcoming festive D&D campaign. So today I set about priming everything in a light grey and started painting the wooden parts.

One of my friends has commissioned me to paint a load of terrain and minis for his upcoming festive D&D campaign. As payment he gave me these! Suffice to say I am more than happy with that trade.

#hobbystreak 186 and 187. Yesterday was our usual D&D night. I've also spent some time yesterday and today painting the Secret Santa project, working on my Stormboyz and I've finished painting the hair on the cyberpunk bust I started ages ago.

#hobbystreak 184. I didn't get to do any hobby till late this evening, so all I've managed is painting the rest of the yellow on the Stormboyz along with their skin.

#hobbystreak 183. I did some more work on the Secret Santa project, did a little bit of work on some Stormboyz, but mainly I finished the first Glutton from the Deep Madness #boardgame.

#hobbystreak 182. I had the house to myself for a couple of hours this afternoon so I did what anyone would do; I practiced voices for some upcoming #DnD encounters I have planned. I also scripted out a few things for the NPC's to say during conversation.

#hobbystreak 181. I started painting the alternative cat mini for the wizards familiar in my home #dnd game. It's from the Cats and Catacombs vol.2 box by @steamforgedgames.bsky.social. I also decided to paint something different for a bit and started the Gluttons for the Deep Madness #boardgame.

#hobbystreak 180. Tuesday I updated my #dnd notes, planned next week's session and finished the mini I was painting for one of my players. I even painted up a spare cat mini for his familiar. I have an alternative mini for the cat that is cooler though so I might do that one too and let him choose.

#hobbystreak 179. Monday was #dnd night. The party gained a new member and the barbarian wished to be a wizard. On their travels they encountered a murderous Redcap and later a group of small blue men who tried to rob the party. It was a good night.

#hobbystreak 177 and 178. I've been working on stuff for D&D this weekend. Nearly finished the mini for one of my players, completed the models for an upcoming encounter and finishing up some prep for tomorrow nights session.

#hobbystreak 176. Metallics started on the Stompa. I also snapped the shoulder mounted weapon off. Whoops. I also did a bit of work on some minis for D&D and my Secret Santa mini.

#hobbystreak 175. More work on the Stompa. I also managed to do a bit of D&D prep. Which reminds me, I have minis that need to be painted for that.

#hobbystreak 172 and 173. I've primed and begun drybrushing a unit of Ork Stormboyz and a Stompa. I haven't been feeling well so that is about all I felt up to doing. Still, the army needs painting. I may as well get something done.
