Why is this a thing in Florida

Thought living in Florida meant i would be free from weather related impact on chronic pain.

The moon hangs low, a silver grin, White shadows dance and spirits spin. The pumpkin’s fiery, watchful gleam Protects each child’s sweet candy dream. Spirits drift by in tattered white, Leaves fall softly through the night. A boo, a scare, a whispered scream— It’s the night we call Halloween.

Why is there no "The day stops when it gets above 110" rule?

Love how the words "tropical rainstorm" have to appear in the forecast for me to get rain at all.

Chose the path that felt safe. Avoided risk and potential ache. Yet comfort couldn't make you whole. It only quieted your soul. Still, this path feels strangely hard. Believed it was the easier choice. The greener grass you long to find. Comes when the past is left behind.

Love living in the one place a 106 degree day and a thunderstorm will happen in the same day.
