This is a very clear case of political persecution. This is happening just for propaganda, and it is terrible. The Georgian people demand a free and fair court and justice system FOR EVERYONE!

Former boxer Giorgi Kandelaki, who was arrested on September 17 along with 6 other individuals for counterfeiting alcoholic beverages, was released today on bail of 200K GEL. Under GD, Georgia is a country where criminals are free, while innocent people are imprisoned for years.

In Sept 2021, someone leaked the “SSG files”, thousands of recordings revealing total surveillance of clergy, down to trivial conversations and private lives. I appeared twice, simply for calling bishops as a journalist. The SSG chief at the time was Grigol Liluashvili, now arrested for bribery.

He was once a powerful man. Now he has been arrested by the regime, much like during the era of Stalin.

If nobody hates this man, it means I am dead.

"All judges and all citizens should know: If even one person raises their voice, this city is not dead". Vladimer Khuchua - one of the few judges in Georgia who is conscientious.

He was released much earlier than announced so that people would not be waiting for him near the prison.

🏆 Publika journalists Natia Amiranashvili and @mindiagabadze.bsky.social Gabadze won a prize from the Georgian Journalistic Charter of Ethics. Natia’s article focused on false witnesses in the court cases of political prisoners. Mindia’s work was a photo reportage from court hearings.

Georgian Dream is a gov’t that works in the interests of another country - they work directly for Russia and against their own country’s interests. I can’t recall any other government that acts this way, regardless of everything. Look at GD - this is how traitors look and act.

GD is poisoning Georgia's citizens. And I am 100% sure, they truly, deeply hate everyone who is critical of them.

We were poisoned with Camite (Bromobenzyl cyanide) during last year’s protests. And just a few months ago, GD froze the bank accounts of NGOs that bought face masks for coworkers and protesters to reduce the harm. Apparently, according to GD, we weren’t poisoned enough.

The Civil Aviation Agency says that this information is incorrect: on Nov 28, Azimuth Airlines operated flight AZO6153 from Minvodi to Tbilisi. GCAA states that this is a recurring, non-scheduled service operating on the Minvodi–Tbilisi–Minvodi route under the relevant permit.

The worst year.

According to Flight Radar, Russian airline Azimut flew from Tbilisi to occupied Sukhumi today. We at Publika are trying to gather more details, but so far without success.

Being a journalist in Georgia means being under the threat of physical violence, and media outlets are also subjected to repression and financial pressure. Now Shalva Papuashvili is threatening us with even worse.

Propaganda TV channel Imedi aired a story accusing Georgian online media, repressed by the GD, of being an “underground network” that hinders the country’s progress. This shot shows an Imedi propagandist Anuki Gumbaridze at the door of iFact’s head Nino Bakradze.

Today marks 22 years since the Rose Revolution - the day that reshaped Georgia for the better and saved the country, at least for my generation. I will be forever grateful and will continue to fight for its values.

It’s very difficult to attend the Rustaveli protest every day. It takes a lot of physical and emotional strength. That’s why it isn’t full of people every day. But the protest and the anger are still here, if not grown after all the injustices the GD gov't has inflicted.
