Odyssey week: White kinda gets it's own Grave Pact in the form of Karmic Justice. Sure, it only triggers when your opponents target your stuff, but that can work well as a rattlesnake, especially in a deck that can take advantage of enchantment synergy.

Apocalypse week: Bloodfire Infusion was just waiting for Stangg, Echo Warrior and Juri, Master of the Revue decks to happen, patiently biding it's time as a nearly unplayed common.

Apocalypse week: For one mana Unnatural Selection lets you make a thing's type into another thing's type. This is excellent in decks like Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist, but it can do work in any deck that cares about a creature type but you're running off-type creatures. edhrec.com/cards/unnatu...

Apocalypse week: Long a staple in Nekusar, the Mindrazer lists, Whirlpool Warrior does a lot of work in Xyris, the Writhing Storm, The Locust God, Arjun, the Shifting Flame, and most Niv-Mizzet decks. Or any deck that wants to wheel people.

Apocalypse week: Diversionary Tactics really shines in a weenie or token list, where you can use your disposable bodies to lock down any problematic creature. Sure, spending 2 isn't ideal compared to Opposition or Glare of Subdual, but it's also available in mono-w.
