When I say my yard needs a fade, this is what I mean. This is with mowing a mid-height pass at the borders between the Mow Twice A Year patches and the Why Aren't You Dead Yet patches.

My yard has two types of walkable groundcover: stuff I mow twice a year, and stuff I'm still trying to kill. However, distribution of these is based largely on soil conditions rather than aesthetics. Which leads to awkward considerations like "does my yard need a fade?"

For funsies, I wrote up all the steps to get into one system at work. It's 10 steps (either a click or typing something...charitably counting typing username and password as 1 step). To access a system that times out in (I timed it) 5 minutes. Subsequent logins are a mere 8 steps.
