I really feel for Indiana fans. They love their Hoosiers so much and this team is a chore to watch. I get frustrated watching them as an impartial observer. I feel for anyone that has an emotional investment in this.

There are always going to be flaws in UConn's defense because they just don't have the same level of defender this year as they've had. But the effort tonight, the rotations, have been terrific since about the 14 minute mark. With the weapons they have offensively, that's enough to be really good.

I think those last three possessions really sum up my big picture concern for Kentucky this season. With the obvious caveat that this is a road game against a good Clemson team, all three ended with threes from guys that can make threes but you'd hardly consider a shooter.

I feel for Louisville. They brought in 12 new guys this summer. Four of them are now redshirting due to injury, and that doesn't include Aboubocar Traore, who is out with a broken arm. Three of their top six guys are out.

Ole Miss is very real. They were a box out away from taking Purdue to overtime in San Diego, and they are absolutely putting it on Louisville in the Yum! Center right now.

John Calipari really changed his entire collection of suits, shirts and ties from blue to red just to roll out a team whose offense is this unappealing to watch. Tyson Chicken punching air right now.

This is the kind of matchup that really exposes Purdue's lack of a secondary creator that can replace Lance Jones. Marquette's ball-pressure has Foster Loyer in a blender. Braden Smith has played well, but asking him to beat two guys every possession is an impossible task.
